For those you who are new here, i've included a brief description about AREA EIGHTEEN and our mission as well as the job specification
Love and light, Tom X

AREA EIGHTEEN is the vintage fashion start-up brand and we don’t owe you conformity. With a mission to represent the underrepresented and non-conforming through vintage fashion, dance, music and the creative arts, in just 18 months we have built a human driven brand with a 25k collective following of bad bitches passionate about authentic expression, community and social change. We have strong relationships with vintage fashion leaders, are ASOS’ brand to watch for 2020 and were recently featured in DEPOP’s first ever UK TV ad alongside the winter love island ad breaks.

We are now looking for a confident, rebellious, creative and driven social media/e- commerce assistant who is up for the challenge of working in a fast paced, ever-changing start-up.  The ideal candidate is somebody who isn’t afraid to go against the grain or to get their hands dirty.

The human element of the brand is extremely important to AREA EIGHTEEN; it sets us apart from every other vintage fashion brand that exists so the ideal candidate shouldn’t be afraid to show their face across our social media.

You’ll be working with a small team of vibrant and fun individuals who strive for representing the underrepresented and thinking through the lens of an underrepresented customer.  We’re looking for a forward thinker who is enthusiastic to share their thoughts and ideas and wants to move the business forward really making the role their own.

  • Be responsible for styling, modelling and photographing new vintage garments ready for upload on ASOS and DEPOP.
  • Create content for our social media channels through the lens of fashion, incorporating your own human experience and expertise in your creative subject.
  • Assist in helping to continue to build the AREA EIGHTEEN community, with the we don’t owe you conformity culture in mind
